AMAZAQUE

This custom-built 34" scale bass has been designed and built as a distinctive individual instrument, combining selected woods, modern electronics and strong attention to detail.

The ash body features striking Amazaque veneers front and back, creating a rich contrast in colour and grain. The laminated maple and sapele neck is paired with a maple fretboard and 24 nickel plated frets, offering a two octave range.

The bass is fitted with single-coil pick ups and a Seymour Duncan active 3 band EQ, providing independent control over the bass, middle and treble frequencies. The combination of single-coil pick ups and active EQ gives the instrument a broad tonal range, from clear and articulate sound through to a more aggressive voice.

The pick-ups and cavity cover are fitted with matching covers designed to complement the overall appearance of the instrument.

The Macassar Ebony veneered headstock is finished with mother-of pearl and abalone inlays which add a touch of individuality and craftsmanship.High quality tuners ensure dependable tuning stability and precise adjustment. 

Individual string saddles with 20mm spacing, ensure an accurate and consistent feel.

A combination of black and chrome hardware bring the whole design together.

The entire instrument has a satin finish, allowing the character of the woods to remain visible while giving the bass a clean, understated appearance.

Every element has been individually considered and crafted, from the selection and arrangement of the woods through to the fine finishing details. The result is a one-of-a-kind handmade bass that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern electronics and a distinctive visual identity.
