This handmade custom bass features a sleek, cool white satin finish paired with refined dark accents for a striking modern look.

 

The poplar body keeps the instrument lightweight and resonant, whilst the 34" scale length and 24 stainless steel frets deliver a full 2 octave range with exceptional durability and clarity and a consistently smooth feel under the hand.

 

At the heart of the instrument lies a laminated maple and sapele neck, combining  solidity and warmth in equal measure. The lamination enhances stability while contributing subtle harmonic complexity.  A maple fretboard, shaped to a generous 20" radius, offers an unencumbered playing surface - fast, deliberate and confident - inviting both technical precision and expressive freedom.

 

For the bridge, I selected a schaller unit with 20mm adjustable string spacing, giving the player the ability to fine-tune both feel and ergonomics.

 

The electronics are intentionally simple. Single coil pick ups  are chosen for their directness and articulation and they are housed in macassar ebony covers which allows the natural density and visual depth of the wood to become part of the instrument's identity.

 

The same ebony appears at the headstock to introduce a quiet sense of luxury - never ornamental , always deliberate. High quality tuners ensure dependable tuning stability and precise adjustment.

 

Black hardware completes the palette, reinforcing the instrument's restrained  modern character.

 

This bass is not about excess. It's about proportion, touch and honesty - an instrument to disappear in the hands of the player, leaving only sound, feel, and intent.
