OLIVE ASH

This custom-built bass features a sapele body accented with olive ash veneers on both the front and back, delivering a rich tonal foundation paired with a striking natural figure.

A laminated maple and sapele neck ensures strength and stability, complimented by a maple fretboard that adds clarity and snap. The 34" scale length and modern 20" fingerboard radius provide smooth, fast playability across the entire neck. A full two octave range is achieved with 24 nickel plated frets, supporting expressive playing from deep grooves to melodic upper-register work.

Single coil pick ups deliver articulate, detailed tone and are fitted with custom matching covers for a refined, cohesive look.  A 3 band active EQ offers extensive tonal control, allowing the instrument to adapt effortlessly to any musical context. Individual string saddles with 20mm spacing allow for precise adjustment and a confident right hand feel.

Particular attention has been given to the headstock, which features a beautifully figured macassar ebony veneer, enhanced with an intricate mother-of-pearl and abalone shell inlay. High quality tuners ensure dependable tuning stability and precise adjustment. A matching olive ash veneer cavity cover continues the attention to detail across the rear of the instrument - a reminder that , craftsmanship is not reserved solely for what can be seen from the front.

The entire instrument is completed in a hand applied satin finish, chosen to retain the natural beauty and tactile quality of the timbers while giving the bass a sophisticated, understated appearance.
